Nigel was a pioneer in digital photography software and internet retail and founded and exited two companies (one, Pixology plc, having floated on AIM). He has been part-time Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Surrey since 2006 where he promotes “being enterprising” to all students and staff by running workshops, seminars and other events on business, innovation and idea generation.

Nigel was also the founding Chairman and Business Champion of the Surrey Enterprise Hub funded by the South East England Development Agency and was a Portfolio Director in both the Thames Valley and the West Surrey Innovation and Growth Teams.

Nigel has been a director of a market research company and another software company and currently still runs an innovation training consultancy called Passionate Innovation.
